1. Services Provided
RecoverEat Nutrition provides nutrition counseling, eating disorder support, non-diet dietitian services, GLP-1 medication nutrition support, and related wellness services. Our services are provided by Amanda Bonfiglio, MS, RD, LD/N, a licensed registered dietitian. All services are intended to support your overall wellness and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
2. Not a Medical Emergency Service
Our services are not designed for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, a mental health crisis, or are in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. For eating disorder crisis support, you may also contact the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) helpline at 1-800-931-2237.
3. Scope of Nutrition Services
Nutrition counseling and dietitian services provided by RecoverEat Nutrition are intended for informational and supportive purposes within the scope of registered dietitian practice. Nothing communicated through our website, contact forms, email, or sessions constitutes a diagnosis of a medical condition. Clients are encouraged to work collaboratively with their full care team, including physicians, therapists, and other providers.
4. HIPAA and Protected Health Information
RecoverEat Nutrition is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your health information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Any protected health information (PHI) collected during the course of your care is handled in compliance with applicable federal and state privacy laws.
